In April 2026, I took part in the 48Hrs Film Project with the FreelancersUnited team: a complete short film made in one weekend, from genre to script, from shoot to edit, from poster to behind-the-scenes.

Two weeks later, we were at the screening and awards night. Always a tense one. You know exactly how much blood, sweat, edit hours  went into it, but nothing quite compares to watching a full room see it for the first time. We walked away with more than we expected:

I'm proud of the awards, of course, and especially proud that it's recognition for my work as a colorist. But mostly I'm proud of the weekend itself: the switching gears, the problem-solving, the carrying, acting, and moving together under pressure. That's exactly why I joined: to build something as a team, under a deadline, with a result we stand behind.
