Hi, I’m Mel, a freelance video editor and colorist, based in and around The Netherlands.
With over 9 years of experience in editing, color grading, cinematography and directing, I help you turn a great story into an outstanding one.
MY APPROACH
Having worked on pre-production, production and post-production, I know what a story needs at every stage to really land. It’s your vision we will be bringing to life. So tell me all about it, so I can tell your story the way it deserves to be told.
I care a lot about the people I work with. Clear communication, honest feedback and a genuine interest in getting the story right are very important to me, and that’s exactly what I’ll bring to every project.
ABOUT ME
My name is Mel Struijk. A 27 year-old who started making videos at just 13, pulling all-nighters making Call of Duty montages and gradually working his way up to high-end commercials, films and documentaries. Now working with some of the biggest brands in the country.
Today, my main focus is editing and color grading, adding the final layer to the project you’ve made. It’s the thing I love most, and the thing you can genuinely wake me up to do.
