Directed, edited and color graded for Aron Qlik, one of my closest friends and collaborators.

Crisis follows a man who's trying to outrun a confrontation with himself, one he can't escape. Visually, we built an abstract, almost chemical world around him, where his ultimate self appears as a kind of angel he keeps trying to flee from. In the end, he's pulled in completely, absorbed by the very thing he has been running away from.

This project also marked a shift in how we work together. Normally I handle both the filming and the editing, but this time Aron created the VFX himself, layering it on top of the footage. It was a new way of collaborating for us, and it meant getting every element exactly right on location, since so much of the final look depended on what we captured in camera before post even started.
